Alcoholic liver disease can be caused by drinking excess amount of alcohol. Some other causes that leads to fatty liver disease are presence of too much iron content in the body or obesity.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease can be caused by overweight, high cholesterol and diabetes,viral hepatitis, genetic disorders and inherited liver disease. Presence of too much bacteria in the small intestine and other changes in the intestine may also leads to nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.

Symptoms of fatty liver disease :

• Feeling tired and weakness
• Nausea
• Loss of weight or appetite
• Size of liver get increased
• Feel pain in the center or right upper part of the belly
• Seen dark colored patches in the neck or underarms
